What started as an ordinary summer day in Old Ellicott City ended in an unimaginable spectacle of destruction and sorrow. Six inches of rain fell on our town in less than two hours, causing millions of dollars in property damage and sadly, the loss of three lives. Not to be overcome and dishearten by the force of Mother Nature, our residents, shop owners, workers and friends of Old Ellicott City banded together to immediately begin rebuilding our beloved town.
